Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Crime prevention. Work setting: Urban area. Community agency. Tasks: Assess offenders' prospects for successful reintegration into the community. Plan rehabilitation programs with offenders, establishing rules of conduct, goals and objectives. Liaise with the inmates' families and contacts in the community. Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs. Conduct follow-up assessments. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients.
