Responsibilities
Tasks

Develop and guide the behaviour of farm animals
-
Direct farm grooming activities
-
Examine milking operations to ensure adherence to safety regulations or standards

Follow sustainable soy farming practices such as crop rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology and cover crops

Implement soil fertility programs

Manage feed inventory activities

Monitor the calving process

Monitoring animal health

Organize planting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities

Oversee the preparation for cattle exhibition

Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving

Prepare cattle for exhibition

Raise and breed livestock and poultry

Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings

Manage overall operation of farm
