*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the overall health and well-being of our patients. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient interactions, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare setting. *Responsibilities* * Conduct thorough examinations of patients' skin, hair, and nails to diagnose conditions. * Develop and implement effective treatment plans for various dermatological issues. * Perform procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and laser treatments as necessary. * Provide education to patients regarding skin care, preventive measures, and treatment options. * Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Participate in data collection for clinical assessments and research purposes. * Stay updated on advancements in dermatology practices and technologies. *Requirements* * Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Dermatology. * Valid medical license to practice dermatology in the state of employment. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dermatology. * Experience in acute care settings is preferred but not mandatory. * Familiarity with pediatric dermatology is a plus. * Proficient in using electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner). * Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education. * Ability to manage pain effectively during procedures and treatments. * Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in both hospital and home care settings.
