*Financial Reporting and Analysis*
* Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Conduct variance analysis to explain fluctuations and offer actionable insights to management.
* Generate timely, accurate financial reports to support decision-making.
*General Ledger Maintenance and Reconciliation*
* Manage the general ledger to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial records.
* Perform bank and key account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
* Oversee bookkeeping for multiple entities, including journal entries and monthly reconciliations.
*Month-End and Year-End Closing*
* Lead month-end and year-end closing, including P&L and Balance Sheets.
* Resolve financial discrepancies, handle accruals, deferrals, and conduct reconciliations.
* Ensure all adjustments, including depreciation, are recorded accurately.
*Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Planning*
* Partner with CFO and senior management to develop the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
* Track actual performance versus budget, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
*Accounts Payable and Receivable Management*
* Oversee AP/AR processes, ensuring timely payment processing and collections.
* Review vendor invoices for accuracy and adherence to contract terms.
* Monitor outstanding invoices, managing collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
*Cash Flow and Treasury Management*
* Monitor cash flow, providing weekly forecasts and ensuring efficient resource utilization.
* Support alignment with the company?s financial strategy.
*Tax and Compliance Reporting*
* Prepare HST returns and coordinate remittance payments to maintain tax compliance.
*Cost Accounting and Project Management*
* Conduct cost accounting for projects, tracking schedules, project absorption, and labor costing.
* Support cost control measures with variance analysis and project budgeting.
*Inventory and Supply Chain Management*
* Oversee inventory management, from physical counts to accurate financial reporting.
* Develop inventory control systems, reducing discrepancies and supporting efficient stock management.
* Coordinate procurement processes to ensure production needs are met without delays.
*Leadership and Development*
* Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, fostering skill development and performance improvement.
*Process Improvement and System Implementation*
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
* Lead Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementation, ensuring systems meet organizational needs.
*Qualifications:*
* Master?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* CPA or other relevant accounting designation preferred.
* Minimum of 03 years of experience in accounting or financial management, ideally within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
* Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and Excel.
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
