<p>Founded in 2001, Fed Finance is a recruitment agency that is specialized in accounting and finance positions. <br>Our consultants are finance experts and speak your language. <br>We select the best candidates for temporary and permanent positions. <br>We are committed to working with you throughout your job search and beyond!</p><p>---</p><p>Your responsibilities: <br>- Prepare tax returns for Canadian and U.S. entities, ensuring compliance with <br>compliance with tax rules and deadlines in each country; <br>- Prepare tax forms such as T1134, CDC, T4A, T106, etc., for corporations, taking into account <br>variations between provincial and state jurisdictions; <br>- Collect and analyze financial data for tax purposes; <br>- Analyze and interpret current tax legislation; <br>- Update our tax tracking systems; <br>- Perform various administrative and organizational tasks - general correspondence and <br>filing. <br>- Support the management and application of indirect taxes for Canadian and foreign entities. <br>entities and, as such, produce indirect tax reports for designated tax authorities <br>authorities; <br>- Support the preparation of files, communication and negotiation with tax authorities <br>for tax audits; <br>- Support the preparation of internal tax-related memoranda; <br>- Support design efforts aimed at proposing improvements to policies and procedures <br>procedures related to the application of tax laws; <br>- Act as point of contact for the entire group for all tax-related matters.</p><p>Your profile: <br>- Degree or certificate in accounting or related field; <br>- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience related to the responsibilities described; <br>- Experience in an accounting firm; <br>- Knowledge of US taxation, an asset; <br>- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel; <br>- Excellent attention to detail; <br>- Demonstrate good overall vision and strong analytical skills; <br>- Excellent management of priorities, deadlines and time; <br>- Ability to adapt to change and build positive interpersonal relationships <br>- Attention to detail; <br>- Concern for confidentiality; <br>- Bilingualism (in this position, you will be communicating with companies in the US and Quebec).</p>
