Access Resources provides support to individuals with varying diverse abilities and challenging behaviors in 1:1, 1:3 and in small group capacities. Community Support Workers assist individuals to achieve the highest quality of life possible and supports individuals with their physical, economic, vocational, recreational, social, emotional and daily life skills development in their homes and in the community. Staff participate in the development, implementation and documentation of individualized Service Plans to meet the above goals.
*We are excited to announce that we are currently accepting applications for one permanent part-time position (approximately 25-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30-5:00) which may lead to full-time work if requested or needed. These positions may involve planning and facilitating small groups, so creativity, energy, good communication, time management, and organization are assets!*
Application is open to all qualified individuals without discrimination. Immediate availability an asset. Experience with individuals living with Autism an asset.
*Qualified applicants should posses the following:*
* Human Service Worker (HSW) or Residential Support Worker (RSW) diploma or equivalent, or related post secondary education or 2 years relevant experience.
* Current and valid First Aid with CPR
* Clear Criminal Record Check through the Ministry of Justice for children and vulnerable adults
* Class 5 Driver License and reliable vehicle.
* Clear Drivers Abstract
* Must have good work ethic & the ability to problem solve.
* Must be dependable
*The following requirement's will need to be obtained within 3 months of employment:*
* Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certificate or equivalent
* WHMIS Certificate
* Food Safe Certificate
* Negative TB screening test results
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $24.75 per hour
Expected hours: 25 ? 30 per week
