*Job Description: Material Handler*
*Position Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Handler to manage the inventory of screens and assist with screen production as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a team-oriented attitude, and preferably a valid forklift license to support material handling operations efficiently.
*Key Responsibilities*
* *Inventory Management*
* Maintain accurate inventory of screens, including receiving, storing, and organizing materials.
* Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
* Ensure proper labeling and storage of screens for easy identification and retrieval.
* Track usage and reorder materials as necessary to prevent stockouts.
* *Production Support*
* Assist with screen production activities, including preparation, assembly, and quality checks.
* Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly production targets.
* Follow safety and quality standards during production tasks.
* *Material Handling*
* Safely load, unload, and transport materials using appropriate equipment, including forklifts if licensed.
* Coordinate with the procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and storage of materials.
* Keep work areas clean and organized to promote a safe working environment.
* *Documentation and Reporting*
* Maintain detailed records of inventory movements and production activities.
* Provide regular updates to the warehouse and production supervisors.
* Identify and report issues, such as damaged materials or production delays.
*Qualifications and Skills*
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* *Preferred*: Valid forklift operator license or willingness to obtain certification.
* Previous experience in material handling, inventory management, or production support.
* Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Physical ability to lift, move, and transport materials as required.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
*Work Environment*
* Fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse setting.
* Regular exposure to machinery and moving equipment.
* Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
