<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p> <p>The Service Manager for Engineered Repair Services will be responsible for the preparation of service/repair estimates, the scheduling and coordination of service work (in house and field service). He/ She will be responsible for the supervision of a team of employees and ensures that the work produced meets customer requirements and company standards while addressing escalated customer issues and requests.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for day-to-day support and review of all service work & coordinate with shop employees regarding service work scheduling, troubleshooting and completion to ensure it complies with manufacturer and customer specifications.</li> <li>Execute initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence and maximize efficiencies including service, warranty programs and parts operations at the branch.</li> <li>Responsible to review and issue all service invoices and billing,</li> <li>Review estimates, repairs, production orders; enter service part orders & MRO purchases when needed.</li> <li>Manage branch personnel performance, safety, training and customer service.</li> <li>Work with customers, suppliers and co-workers to fulfill service orders, technical issues or inquiries.</li> <li>Manage escalated customer inquiries and concerns.</li> <li>Support collaboration with other Wajax leaders in a larger branch environment. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>The Candidate</strong></p> <p><strong>Education:</strong> College diploma / Post-secondary education. Skilled trade certification or journeyman ticket considered an asset.</p> <p><strong>Work Experience: </strong>3-5 years related experience in Engineered Repair Service, parts, industrial hydraulics field; as well as 2-4 years in Management role.</p> <p><strong>Knowledge: </strong>Demonstrated experience working with and analyzing budgets and developing targets</p> <p><strong>Proficiency: </strong>demonstrated excellence in all aspects of the Microsoft Office Suite</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The Company</strong></p> <p>Since 1858, Wajax has been a leading industrial products and solutions provider continually innovating to serve Canadian industry coast-to-coast.
