Job details
Reporting to the Service Desk Leadand receiving instruction/direction from all leads, the Field Technician is responsible for the technical support of all end users at their assigned locations and, on occasion, at other locations as well. Central to this will be the use of a service desk system where they will plan, create and manage support tickets. Support to the end user will be provided both in person and remotely via phone and/or a remote desktop connection.Configuration and repair of MacBooks, Chromebooks, Windows laptops and workstations. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2-4 years experience as a computer technician or in a similar role. BSc/BA/College Diploma in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field from a recognized post-secondary institution. Relevant certifications (e.g. A+, Network+) will be an advantage. Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Windows 10 and 11, MacOS, IOS, Google Workspace, ChromeOS and Android. Excellent analytical and technical problem solving skills, with accurate attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication abilities.A valid Ontario Driver's License and access to a reliable automobile.
