Our work environment includes: * Modern office setting * Food provided Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines - Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies - Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow proper food handling procedures Requirements: - Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role - Knowledge of various cooking techniques and equipment - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects - Food handler's certification is preferred, but not required If you are passionate about food preparation, have experience working in a kitchen, and enjoy working as part of a team, we would love to hear from you. Join our team as a Line Cook and contribute to creating delicious meals for our customers. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay * Tips Benefits: * Language training provided Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * Cooking: 1 year (preferred) Language: * English (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Food Handler Certification (preferred) * Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-12-15- LocationLondon, ON
