Location: 333 Bloor Street East - 333 Bloor Street East, TORONTO, ON Billing Rate: 95 Per Hour Job Description: ROLE: Nurse Practitioner / Family Physician locum LOCATION: Will be working out of both the Toronto office on Mon, Wed, Fri (333 Bloor street) and Brampton office on Tues, Thurs (8200 Dixie Road). HOURS: Mon-Fri (7:30am-3:30pm) Job Responsibilities/Job Functions: *The Registered Nurse performs a variety of moderately complex tasks which may include:* Assisting in the provision of direct patient care; triaging telephone calls and providing clinical advice appropriately; coordinating the follow-up care of patients; providing practice management support and patient education. *Acts as a clinical resource to support staff. Requires specialty specific and/or ambulatory care experience, strong telephone triaging skills and proficiency with some of the following: starting IV's, mixing and administering IV med., IM injections, nebulizer treatment, EKGs and suture removal etc* Job Qualifications: *Graduation from an approved nursing program (bachelors preferred), and current license required.* Over 5 year's experience and current certification also required.
