Nutritional Management Services is expanding and looking for a Registered Dietitian to join our Therapeutic Programs. If you are passionate about being a part of a team that is driven by innovation and growth, then join us!
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and organizational skills. The qualifications are as follows:
* Planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating residents? nutritional care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
* Providing nutritional care including assessments, reassessments and develops appropriate nutrition interventions in consultation with the interdisciplinary team.
* Developing Therapeutic menus for special diets not included in the Therapeutic menu extensions.
* Identifying risk related to nutrition care, dietary services, and hydration.
* Implementing interventions to mitigate and manage nutrition and hydration risk.
* Providing nutrition/dietary counseling or education for residents and/or their caregivers, family members or substitute decision makers for the purpose of supporting optimum resident nutrition care.
* Collaborate with the Food and Nutrition Manager to implement a pleasurable dining experience for Residents.
* Review and approve seasonal menus; develop individualized menus for Residents, as needed
* Review company and unit policies and procedures, diet manual, therapeutic menu guidelines and update as required.
* Complete nutrient analysis and menu reviews.
* Participate in menu and recipe development.
* To assess, implement, and monitor a professional and complete care plan for the youth patients.
* To provide a written "individualized meal plan" for each client consulted.
* Follow the patient's progress for the duration of the established care plan.
* Follow all company policies with regards to privacy and patient rights and confidentiality.
* Performing other duties as assigned.
Must haves:
* Degree from an accredited Food and Nutrition university program.
* Member of College of Dietitians of Ontario
* Minimum 2 years? experience in a Long-Term Care.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care dietary and nutrition regulations.
* Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate interventions in nutritional care for Long Term Care setting needs including but not limited to dementia, dysphagia, tube feeding, weight management, wound treatment, diabetes, renal disease, food allergies and intolerances.
* All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
* All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Records Check

Pay: $29.83-$48.66 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
