*Job Description:*
We are seeking a driven *Manufacturing Operations Manager* to join our team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee the operational success of our Manufacturing department, ensuring it works efficiently with other key departments like engineering, product management, sales, and operations. You will contribute directly to our scaling efforts, which will be a key focus over the coming year.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Work with product management, engineering, and sales teams to oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing team, including:
* Ensuring manufacturing orders are adequately entered and tracked.
* Ensuring we maintain base levels of on hand ?ready to ship? inventory.
* Ensuring product is properly packaged, labeled, and shipped to customers on time.
* Ensuring our commitment to zero shipped functional defects.
* Ensuring quality control and record keeping processes are both adequate and adhered to.
* Ensure inventory levels are accurately tracked and managed, covering components, raw materials, supplies, and finished products, to meet sales projections and requirements set by the Sales Team and the CEO.
* Lead and guide the Manufacturing team, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
* Compile and provide feedback to internal teams on areas such as test stations, assembly tooling, assembly processes, and company systems (e.g., Manufacturing Execution System, Tulip).
* Ensure processes are documented and followed; where documentation gaps or issues exist, propose and implement corrective actions.
* Occasionally assist on the assembly line as needed to support peak demand and stay familiar with each assembly process.
* Monitor progress, address issues promptly, and maintain quality standards.
* Collaborate with the CEO to define and document processes aligned with the company vision.
* Monitor KPIs and resolve issues to ensure our products exceed customer expectations and deliver value.
* Develop systems and processes to enable scalability within the manufacturing department.
* Support additional tasks and projects as needed.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Logistics, a related field, or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment, with a progressing level of responsibility.
* Strong proficiency with Windows, Google Suite, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), is required.
* Experience working with an ERP, MES, or similar systems.
* Experience managing a team is considered an asset.
* A willingness to learn!
* Candidates *must *reside in the Greater Victoria area and be able to commute to the office.

* Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and a process-driven approach.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively teach, engage, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders in an electronics manufacturing environment.
* Demonstrates strong leadership with the ability to inspire and drive the Manufacturing team to achieve performance targets and success.
* Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Capable of working as part of a team, with a demonstrated history of successful cross-departmental collaboration.
*Work Hours:*
* Full time - Monday to Friday, 40 hours
