*Heave Away Waste Management is a local Waste & Recycling Disposal Company that prides itself on SERVICE, RELIABLILITY & SUSTAINABILITY.* *Position Description* We currently have an exciting role for a Commercial Truck Driver/ Yard/Garage Helper to join our team. Competitive Salary with $3/Hour worked annual retention Bonus. *Qualifications* * Experience operating Roll Off Trucks an asset. * Experience with bin delivery trucks and Front Load trucks is an asset. * Mechanical abilities a requirement. * Excellent customer service skills * Clean drivers abstract required, and clean criminal search. * Ability to learn and operate the company dispatch App. * Must be local to the St Johns Metro region. *Position Responsibilities* * Safely operate and drive a Roll-off, Shunt Truck & Front Load Truck. * Perform pick ups and drop offs in safe and efficient manner. * Properly follow and update the online dispatch App. * Perform pre-trip inspection and preventative maintenance duties. * Follow safety procedures for transporting materials. * Additional duties may be required * This role will have some labor responsibilities. Bin painting/assembly, garage help, minor maintenance and greasing. * Dependable transportation required. Expected start date: ASAP Job Type: Full-time Pay: $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 45 ? 60 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Retention bonus Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationMount Pearl, NL
