We believe in teamwork and collaboration to help secure the best outcome for our clients.</p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><ul><li>Attending to the filing of documents with the Courts and Tribunals.</li><li>Preparation of books of authorities and documents.</li><li>Attending <span class="long-word">hearings/motions/settlement</span> <span class="long-word">conferences/trials.</span></li><li>Drafting of various correspondences.</li><li>Legal research.</li><li>Client <span class="long-word">intake/consultations.</span></li><li>Drafting affidavits.</li><li>Drafting Pleadings.</li><li>General management of client files.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Legal research and writing skills</li><li>Experience handling Landlord and Tenant matters, Small Claims Court, and Provincial Offences. Experience in drafting legal documents, including pleadings and motions</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li>Attention to detail and strong organizational skills</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases such as CanLII</li><li>Licensed with the Law Society of Ontario and in good standing.</li></ul><p> </p></div>Company Description<div>AJ Murray Legal Services is a growing paralegal firm practicing mainly in the areas of Landlord and Tenant, Human Rights, Provincial Offences, and Small Claims Court.
