<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Our client, a specialized construction company located in Chilliwack, BC, is looking for a full-time <span class="long-word">administrator/internal</span> accountant.</p><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Reception</li><li>Filing</li><li>Data entry</li><li>Bookkeeping and internal accounting using Sage50</li><li>Process accounts payables and receivables and maintain subledgers</li><li>Prepare monthly financial statements with bank reconciliations and accruals</li><li>Prepare and submit payroll</li><li>Calculate required remittances for payroll, WCB and GST</li><li>Prepare T4s and ROEs</li><li>Correspond with suppliers, clients and staff members</li></ul><p><strong>Required qualifications include:</strong></p><ul><li>Background in <span class="long-word">administration/bookkeeping</span> duties with a minimum of 5 years experience utilizing Sage50</li><li>Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word</li><li>Ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize responsibilities</li><li>Ability to work alone with limited supervision</li><li>Punctual, friendly, and professional</li><li>Has own transportation</li><li>Criminal record check</li><li>Must be bondable to work in Canada</li></ul><p>This position requires a dedicated and passionate candidate interested in a full-time role to support the company's administrative and internal accounting needs.</p><p>We offer a relaxed environment, extended benefits and 2 weeks holidays to start.</p><p>If this appeals to you, please email us your resume and cover letter outlining your salary expectations.</p></div></div>- LocationChilliwack, BC
