*Job Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. This role requires proficiency in payroll systems and accounting software, as well as strong analytical skills to effectively analyze payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
*Responsibilities*
* Responsible in maintaining employee information, including their attendance, leaves, overtime and benefit entitlements
* Maintain employee records related to payroll, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
* Conduct account reconciliation related to payroll transactions to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
* Ensure collection of timesheets and checking to see how many hours employees worked, including verifying and monitoring overtime hours.
* Analyze payroll data for trends or discrepancies and provide reports as needed for management review.
* Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, including deductions, tax withholdings, and paychecks.
* Assist in the implementation of new payroll systems or upgrades to existing systems as needed.
* Complete and submit forms and documentation for administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, employment medical insurance and other health benefits
* Responsible for Worker?s Compensation remittances, salary analysis, and reporting
* Other administrative/accounting/payroll tasks as assigned
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role in accounting or finance.
* Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP, UltiPro, or Ceridian is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets effectively.
* Familiarity with accounting software is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work output.
* Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 ? 40 per week
