Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Operate X-ray, radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment. Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners. Apply radiation protection measures. Perform basic verification and quality control checks on radiographic and film processing equipment. Record and process patient data. Provide appropriate care and monitoring of the patient during the examination. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure.
