*About Us:* Dumouchel Meat & Deli is a family-owned butcher shop with a commitment to high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. *Job Description:* As a Customer Service Representative at Dumouchel Meat & Deli, you will be the face of our shop, ensuring every customer has a great experience. Your role will be a blend of customer service, administrative tasks, and deli operations. *Key Responsibilities:*Customer Service: * Serve customers promptly as they enter the store * Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries * Process transactions at the cash register * Check and respond to emails on iPad * Check and return messages on the answering machine * Take and prepare customer orders (filling out order forms) Deli Operations: * Slice deli meats and portion cheese * Portion and package deli salads and sausages * Prepare and package sandwiches * Slice peameal, back bacon, and smoked bacon Cooked Product Handling: * Check cooking temperatures for roasted products * Prepare a list of products needed for the next business day * Package roast chickens and transfer roasts for slicing Stocking & Replenishment: * Ensure products are priced correctly * Stock shelves and replenish deli meats in the counter display Administrative Tasks: * Ensure order sheets are printed and available * Print and stock family pack order sheets Closing Duties: * Sweep and mop the front floor * Clean and wipe down counters, including the meat and deli counter * Clean slicer and slicer counter *Qualifications:* * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Experience in retail or food service is an asset but not required * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Basic knowledge of cash handling and processing transactions * Ability to handle food safely and maintain a clean work area *Why Join Us?* * Work in a supportive, family-owned business * Opportunities for growth and development * Competitive wage and benefits If you are enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about providing great customer service, we?d love to hear from you!
