Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Warehouse. Tasks: Bag, box or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery. Direct customers to location of articles sought. Unpack products received by store and count, weigh or sort items. Maintain computerized stock inventory. Order stock. Record incoming stock. Stock shelves and display areas. Keep stock clean and in order. Attach protective devices to products to protect against shoplifting. Order picking. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Client focus.
