Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Viticulture. Tasks: Deleaf agricultural crops to accelerate ripening . Implement soil fertility programs. Mixing fertilizer. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Weeding. Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Pesticide Applicator's Licence. Equipment and machinery experience: Automated irrigation system. Fertilizer applicator. Seed drill. Sprayer or duster. Tractor. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Medical exam. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Ability to distinguish between colours. Sitting. Walking. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
