Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Layer poultry farming. Hot. Odours. Livestock. Poultry and egg production. Work setting: Rural area. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Handling animals. Manage feed inventory activities . Monitoring animal health. Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings. Manage overall operation of farm. Purchase machinery, livestock, seed, feed and other supplies. Maintain financial and production records. Perform general farm duties. Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers. Supervision: 5-10 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Egg gathering system. Feeding and watering system. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Fast-paced environment. Hand-eye co-ordination. Handling heavy loads. Large workload. Manual dexterity. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Tight deadlines. Work under pressure.
