We are looking for a *Pharmacy Assistant (Compounding Specialist)* to work out of our Niagara Falls (Portage Road) location. In this role, you will play an important role in crafting tailored solutions that improve lives, while growing your skills in a supportive and progressive environment. *The Role* As a specialist, you?ll be the trusted expert in advanced compounding, helping patients and providers find customized medication solutions. In this role, your key responsibilities will be to: * Prepare and dispense medications according to prescription orders. * Prepare non-sterile compounded medications, including hazardous and nonhazardous formulations. * Handle advanced calculations and formulas with confidence. * Work with industry-leading tools and *Kroll software* to process prescriptions and manage workflows. * Partner with pharmacists and other assistants to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service. * Address patient inquiries and concerns. * Manage the inventory of compounding supplies and medications, placing orders as needed. * Stay updated on industry trends and compounding best practices. * Maintain a clean, compliant workspace, adhering to pharmacy best practices and regulatory standards. *What Sets Us Apart* Here?s why our team?and your next role?is unique: * As part of a growing compounding pharmacy, you?ll be at the leading edge of personalized medicine. * Enjoy the balance of a part-time role that can with room for growth if you?re interested. * Gain access to ongoing learning in advanced compounding techniques, giving you a competitive edge. * At LiveWell, we value your input.
