*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about promoting oral health and enjoys working in a collaborative environment. *Duties* * Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients. * Utilize appropriate medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Document patient care accurately using Dentrix software. * Assist in the management of patient records and scheduling appointments. * Provide support to the dental team during procedures, including orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency. * Foster positive relationships with patients, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. *Qualifications* * Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. * Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to dentistry. * Experience with Dentrix software is preferred but not mandatory. * Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication. * Previous experience in a dental office setting is advantageous, particularly in orthodontics or pediatrics. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
