*Position Overview:*
We are seeking a *Senior Technical Support Specialist* to join our client's team. This position focuses on providing exceptional customer service, end-user support, managing escalations, and contributing to IT projects. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting cloud infrastructure, specifically Microsoft Azure, and those with an *AZ-104 certification* will be given priority. The role is primarily onsite with occasional travel to client sites in the Hamilton area.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Deliver outstanding customer service and end-user support, resolving complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
* Serve as the escalation point for Level 1/2 support issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
* Manage and support Azure environments, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
* Assist with IT-related projects, such as system upgrades, deployments, and office moves.
* Collaborate with team members to improve support processes and implement best practices.
* Provide training and guidance to end users on systems and applications.
* Create and maintain detailed documentation for technical procedures and user guides.
* Monitor and ensure the security and compliance of network and system operations.
*Requirements:*
* Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in technical support, with a focus on customer service and end-user support.
* Strong technical skills in Microsoft Azure; *AZ-104 certification* highly preferred.
* Experience with troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
* Proven ability to manage escalations and work under pressure to resolve high-priority incidents.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to assist non-technical users effectively.
* Valid driver?s license with the ability to travel occasionally to client sites.
