*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join one of our clients who are in Waste Management. The ideal candidate is required to communicate with drivers to assist with problem resolution while on route. Furthermore, handling incoming service orders, directed drivers, and resolved service issues. Interacts with customers, including customer service, sales, and operational staff. The dispatcher will use the company's software to enter ticket information and track productivity. *Job Type:* Full-Time/ Temp to Permanent *Shift:* * Morning Shift * 9 AM to 6 PM *Responsibilities* * Schedule and coordinate service requests, ensuring completion aligns with policies. * Assign calls to drivers based on route and location, optimizing efficiency. * Conduct end-of-day driver check-ins to verify paperwork accuracy. * Distribute, collect, and review route sheets for data entry. * Collaborate across departments to resolve service issues, reporting to the Operations Manager. * Work with routing specialists to streamline routes and ensure timely pickups and deliveries. * Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, troubleshooting delivery and pickup challenges. * Help determine daily driver staffing for optimal service and productivity. * Document driver information and communicate with maintenance personnel as needed. *Requirements* * High school diploma required; post-secondary education an asset. * 1?2 years of experience in transportation, dispatch, or customer service. * Strong communication and customer service skills with a focus on multitasking and prioritization. * Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); knowledge of TRUX system preferred or willingness to learn. * Knowledge of the waste industry is beneficial. * Availability for extended hours, including occasional weekends.
