Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Assemble mechanical equipment. Coach and instruct apprentices. Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Supervise other workers. Estimate costs and materials. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery. Installing machinery and equipment. Commission systems and components. Provide technical and professional advice. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure. Manual dexterity. Hand-eye co-ordination. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication.
