Airdrie Eyecare Centre is looking for a team oriented, *Optometric Assistant* to add to our growing clinic. Mission statement: Patients First. Job description: The successful candidate will work with team members to maintain our excellent customer service reputation. Duties included in this position: * Preliminary testing of patients * Dispensing of prescription glasses * Administrative duties * Appointment scheduling and confirming * Offering support to Doctors and Opticians as needed The successful candidate will possess the following: * Ability to work alone and in a team environment * Ability to adapt to change * Willingness to learn software and equipment required for job success * Comfortable with working on foot * Critical thinking skills * Exceptional customer service skills * *Previous experience is an asset, however we are willing to train the right candidate. * This position requires shift flexibility, including evenings and weekends.
