As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes that meet our customers' specifications while ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene in the kitchen. *Responsibilities* * Decorate cakes according to customer orders and specifications, using various techniques and styles. * Prepare and bake cakes, ensuring all ingredients are measured accurately. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. * Package finished products for display or delivery, ensuring they are presented attractively. * Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with cake selections and special requests. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the kitchen. * Stay updated on industry trends in cake decorating and baking techniques. *Skills* * Proficient in cake decorating techniques, including fondant work, piping, and airbrushing. * Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. * Experience in cooking and baking within a professional kitchen environment. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. * Familiarity with food preparation processes and equipment used in the food industry. * Creative mindset with an eye for design and aesthetics in cake presentation.
