We are a team of speech language pathologist, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, clinical assistants and administration on a mission.* *We are on a mission to become the most admired neuro-rehabilitation company in British Columbia by creating both an outstanding staff and client experience.* *Our clients are children and adults with neurological challenges.* *Together, we discover the potential in each other and our clients.* *Who you are:* * *you authentically love people and building relationships* * *you are a sponge - constantly learning* * *you are a natural servant leader who thrives on ensuring the well-being of others* *Who you are not:* * *Someone who only thrives in a super structured environment* * *Craves someone that will tell you what to do next* *What you'll own:* * *Creating an outstanding client experience in every visit that results in clients reaching their potential* * *Coordinate with the supervising therapist to know treatment plan* * *Plan speech language session(s) in accordance to the needs of each client and of the clinic* * *Supervise client and assist in safe execution of treatment sessions using guidelines as outlined by supervising therapist.* * *Internal and external communication in a way that reflects our values* * *Identifying your dream caseload and co-creating a plan (with our team) to make it happen* * *Provide basic maintenance/cleaning of clinic and equipment.* *The successful candidate will work with Speech Therapy clients and will also be considered for Occupational and Physiotherapy clients.* *What we'd like to see:* * *Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team* * *Previous experience with either children or adults with neurological challenges* * *completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program or Speech Assistant course an asset* * *Previous experience as an Speech Language Assistant an asset* * *Linguistics or related degree or 3rd or 4th year student* * *Potential for increased hours up to full-time* * *Availability for afterschool hours at least 2-3 days a week is required* Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-01-02- LocationChilliwack, BC
