_Queen Square Family Health Team (QSFHT) provides accessible, equitable, patient-centered primary care to its local community. A talented, interdisciplinary team works collaboratively with Queen Square Doctors, and together, we serve 35,000 patients annually. We offer a wide range of programs and services including diabetes care, seniors? wellness, palliative care support, mental health, maternal and children?s health and trans health. QSFHT is a dynamic organization meeting the community?s needs during the recent pandemic. We are a founding member of the Central West Ontario Health Team. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven *Project Manager* with experience in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects that enhance healthcare delivery, improve patient outcomes, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This individual will report directly to the CEO at Queen Square FHT. While some of the work can be completed virtually, it will be expected to work in person a minimum of 2-3 days per week.
*Responsibilities*
· Establish and implement a quality-focused plan that supports the FHTs in demonstrating effective practices, outcomes and value
· Lead and manage healthcare projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
· Collaborate with stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and external partners, to define project objectives and deliverables.
· Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies.
· Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
· Facilitate cross-functional team meetings, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and resolve project issues promptly.
· Utilize project management tools and methodologies to streamline workflows and optimize efficiency.
· Stay informed on healthcare regulations, trends, and best practices to guide project decisions.
*Qualifications*
· Bachelor?s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
· Proven experience in project management within the healthcare sector (e.g., hospitals, clinics, insurance, or biotech industries).
· Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS guidelines).
· Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or Asana).
· Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
· Knowledge of one or more EMR/EHR systems currently in use in Ontario is considered an asset, preference given for knowledge of Accuro.
· Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with partners
· Highly effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
· Strong report writing skills
· Ability to handle a variety of concurrent assignments and to work independently
· Detail-oriented with quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills.
· See value and able to work effectively as a collaborative team member
· Demonstrated leadership skills, critical thinking and is proactive in their work
· Exceptional organizational and time management skills
· Requires flexibility in hours as the position entails some evenings and weekend work.
· Experience working with confidential and time sensitive documents and information
