Brightside Integrated Health is hiring and we are now recruiting a therapist to join our private practice clinic in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Our office is located in a professional building that has free parking and is off a main artery for an easy commute for staff and clients.The office is newly renovated, fully furnished and comfortable with a warm atmosphere. At present, we have more requests for service than we can handle and are able to refer new therapy clients to successful candidates.We offer flexible hours, an emphasis on work-life balance, peer consultations, a friendly and supportive workplace. Further, we provide billing, clerical, client distribution and online and in person booking for appointments.The ideal candidate will provide mental health treatment to children, youth, adults and/or couples. The ideal candidate will be an active member of our interdisciplinary team and contribute to our positive environment.Qualifications:Minimum of a Master's degree in Psychology or Social WorkMembership in good standing with their professional bodyExperience providing counseling or assessment services for adults, adolescents, and/or childrenActive liability insuranceThe ideal candidate will possess:A good working knowledge of EFT, CBT, Narrative Therapy or Solution Focused Therapy models and protocolsThorough understanding of the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders is considered an assetDemonstrated experience conducting individual psychotherapyBasic understanding of Trauma Informed TherapyCommitment to ethics and professionalismDemonstrated organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary mental health teamExcellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsClear commitment to client centered careCompetency in other languages an assetCompensation: Fee splitJob type: Full Time/Part TimeSchedule: FlexibleStart Date: As soon as filledLocation: 250 Baker Drive, Dartmouth (Suite 222) In Person and Virtual- LocationDartmouth, NS
