Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation and meal service in a healthcare setting. Duties - Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents - Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal delivery - Provide excellent customer service to residents during meal times - Handle food in accordance with established sanitary procedures Skills - Experience in the food service industry is preferred - Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures - Familiarity with food handling and preparation techniques - Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with residents - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean kitchen Join our team as a Dietary Aide Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $17.45 per hour Expected hours: 12 per week Benefits: * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 4 hour shift * Evening shift * Weekends only Experience: * dietary aide: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Food Handler Certification (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationCornwall, ON
