*Job description* We are looking for a *part-time or full time (4-5 days including Saturdays) optometric assistant */ *eyewear stylist* to join our optometry clinics in NE Calgary. Two locations-Bridgeland and Saddletowne. Approx 30-35 hrs per week to begin. Must be available Monday-Saturdays during our regular business hours. *Please do not apply if you are a student who cannot be available during daytime clinic hours.* Responsibilities include: 1) Reception - patient intake, answering phone calls, handling insurance, referrals, etc. 2) Optical Sales - learning pricing for lenses and frames, frame styling, how to prepare glasses orders 3) Optical Lab Work - learning how to do glasses repairs, assembling glasses, edging. 4) Basic housekeeping - keeping the clinic tidy. Additional training will be provided. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 37 per week Benefits: * On-site parking * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Work Location: In person- LocationCalgary, AB
