*Job Summary*
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
*Duties*
* Assist in supervising store operations and staff to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
* Support the recruitment and training of new employees, ensuring they are well-equipped to provide excellent service.
* Maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment by overseeing merchandising and inventory management.
* Utilize strong math skills for cash handling, inventory counts, and sales reporting.
* Conduct interviews for potential hires and assist in the onboarding process.
* Foster a positive team atmosphere through effective communication and motivation.
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for sales growth and improvement.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience in retail sales or management is preferred.
* Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
* Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
* Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Proficient in math for handling transactions and inventory management.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
