*Job Summary* AP/AR Clerk is responsible for supporting the accounting team with all receivables and payables-related tasks to ensure efficiency and productivity. *Responsibilities* *Bookkeeping* * Responsible for all Accounts Payable and Receivable tracking/processing/reconciliation activities in QuickBooks * Download the AP invoices from the email and distribute them according to the approval policies. * Prepares and maintains accounting documents and records * Reconciles employee expenses * Responsible for credit card reconciliation *Building & Processing Vendor Invoices* * Works with vendors to resolve invoicing queries * Track vendors? data in Excel spreadsheets *Filing Accounts Payable Documents* * Responsible for filing and storing Berto & related companies? AP/AR documents & relocates to the storage room * Packs & transfers historic files as needed *Skills* * Post Secondary education in accounting. * At least 2 years of experience in AP/AP and/or similar accounting role. * 2+ years experience with QuickBooks * Strong organizational and time management skills * Strong team player * Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills * Strong problem-solving skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Ability to handle confidential material with discretion *Reporting Structure:* * The AP/AR Clerk reports directly to the Senior Accountant. This position has no direct reports. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 per week Benefits: * Company events Flexible language requirement: * French not required Experience: * Accounting: 2 years (required) * Microsoft Excel: 3 years (preferred) * Accounts payable: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationBurnaby, BC
