*About us* We are a young construction company building in the alberni valley and on the west coast. We do new construction as well as renovations.. \*Job Summary\* We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures in residential and commercial settings. \*Responsibilities\* - Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications - Measure, cut, wood, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials - Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures - Install structures and fixtures such as windows, molding, and cabinets - Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures - Collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects - Perform general maintenance tasks as needed \*Qualifications\* - Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry - Proficient in using power tools, manual equipment and measurement tools - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics - Knowledge of various carpentry techniques including cabinet installation, concrete, framing and siding - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills -team player -drivers licence -leadership skills a plus If you are a skilled Carpenter that likes to work looking for a good job with good people, with opportunities for growth and development, we encourage you to apply.
