All incoming material is directly transferred into tractor trailer and shipped out.</p><p>The employee will follow all health/safety and quality standards.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Why Sanimax </span></b></p><ul><li>25.13$/hour starting rate. 26.63$ after probation</li><li><span>Full-time (8.5 hours/day, 42.5 hours/week) and permanent position </span></li><li>Evening Shift: 11h00am-8h00pm</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Safely and efficiently shunting trucks in and out of trans-load area</li><li>Reporting vehicle defects in Guide TI</li><li>Incoming inspection of raw materials received for contamination, foreign objects, and rendering exclusions</li><li>Maintain fat and bone /organic dump sheet and product traceability</li><li>Generate Bills of Lading for fat and bone / organic loads. Include the date, product type, and destination</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Planning/Inventory Management: (10%)</b></p><ul><li>Make decisions in regards to timing of duties to ensure efficient flow of product</li><li>Interface on an ongoing basis with the appropriate internal <span>departments/employees</span> (ie. Material Processing, Transportation, QA) to ensure materials flow in and out in a timely manner and meet customer specifications - also includes documenting any deviations</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Main Operations: (70%)</b></p><ul><li>General Housekeeping - keeping shop floor and walls clean on a daily basis - includes applying foaming degreaser and power washing residue off.</li><li>Forklift operation - Includes daily pre-op checklist</li><li>Dump trailer unloading - involves emptying purpose built bulk dump trucks into receiving pit. Filling out required paperwork.</li><li>Truck shunting - Includes backing single unit and tractor-trailer combinations into receiving area to be unloaded and loaded. Filling out required paperwork.</li><li>Loading trailers - Includes operating screw conveyor system to transfer raw material.</li><li>Normal equipment maintenance - includes daily equipment check on forklift, pumps, trucks, steam lines, conveyor.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Other Duties: (20%)</b></p><ul><li>Assist other departments as needed or available - includes but is not limited to assisting other employees, shunting trucks, operating forklift.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Key Qualifications for Position: </b></p><ul><li>Technical knowledge</li><li>Physical ability to climb up and down ladders and stairs</li><li>Flexible and able to deal with change including scheduling changes</li><li>Previous truck shunting / forklift experience an asset</li><li>Able to work a steady afternoon shift.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Key Competencies:</b></p><ul><li>Self directed and self motivated</li><li>Excellent verbal communication.</li><li>Creative problem solver</li><li>Ability to work well with others, and effectively solve problems through collaboration.</li><li>Strong sense of urgency</li><li>Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively and efficiently</li><li>Ability to multitask and complete multiple processes and procedures simultaneously</li><li>Team player that enjoys a values driven organization and willing to help out where help is needed</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Give meaning to your career and help us make a difference: become a transformation champion!</b></p><p>Follow us on LinkedIn</p><p></p><p><i>Thank you for your interest in joining our team.
