We?re seeking a skilled and motivated Interior Carpentry Supervisor to lead our team of carpenters and ensure that all projects are completed with the highest level of quality, precision, and safety. You will oversee and manage all aspects of finish carpentry on residential and commercial projects. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage teams, coordinate schedules, and ensure that all work meets or exceeds the company?s standards for quality and craftsmanship. *Responsibilities:* * - Supervise and mentor a team of finish carpenters, ensuring that they adhere to project specifications and deadlines. * Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution. * Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings to ensure precise installation of trim, moldings, cabinetry, doors, windows, staircases, and other finish carpentry elements. * Conduct quality control inspections and address any issues related to material defects, craftsmanship, or site safety. * Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all team members follow safety guidelines and protocols. * Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment. * Provide training and guidance to junior carpenters, helping them to develop their skills and advance in their careers. *Qualifications:* * 5+ years of experience in finish carpentry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. * Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and industry standards. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings. * Experience with trim, cabinetry, crown molding, baseboards, doors, windows, and other finish carpentry elements. * Excellent leadership and communication skills. * Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * Paid time off Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * carpentry: 5 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationKelowna, BC
