As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team and contribute to expanding our market presence and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
*Role Overview:*
The Technical Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and strengthening PIFL?s relationships with industrial clients. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of accounts while prospecting and developing new business opportunities. This role requires a customer-focused approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of industrial fluid applications to deliver tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
*Your First 90 Days:*
*First 30 Days: Orientation and Integration*
Immerse yourself in PIFL?s product lines, customer base, and sales processes. Participate in a structured onboarding program, including product training, CRM system navigation, and sales strategy orientation. Shadow the CEO to gain insights into customer interactions and learn effective sales techniques. Develop a foundational understanding of PIFL?s industrial fluids and their applications in customer industries. Conduct introductory meetings with key accounts to establish rapport and understand their current and future needs. Begin developing a territory sales plan, identifying high-potential leads and areas for growth.
*Next 30 Days: Building Your Foundation*
Begin to independently manage accounts and initiate sales calls with potential clients. Conduct customer site visits to understand operational challenges and identify areas where PIFL?s products can provide value. Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D and customer support, to align on customer solutions and priorities. Begin delivering product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value of PIFL?s offerings.
*Following 30 Days: Driving Results*
Take full responsibility for managing a sales pipeline, closing deals, and achieving sales targets. Conduct in-depth needs analyses to offer customized solutions that address customer pain points. Provide feedback to internal teams (e.g., R&D, Production) to support continuous improvement and align product offerings with market demands. Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to foster long-term customer relationships.
*Success Metrics for the First 90 Days and Beyond: *
At PIFL, we value measurable results and clear expectations. Your performance will be evaluated based on:
* Growth in sales revenue within your assigned territory.
* Successful onboarding of new accounts and satisfaction of existing customers.
* Consistent adherence to PIFL?s sales processes and use of CRM tools to track activity.
* Contribution to cross-functional initiatives that support product development and customer success.
* Positive feedback from customers and colleagues regarding your approachability, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
* Identification of new business opportunities and successful market penetration within your territory.
By the end of your first 90 days, you will have demonstrated the ability to independently manage sales activities, achieve results, and contribute to PIFL?s mission of providing innovative industrial solutions.
