Job description We are currently interviewing applicants for full time, permanent positions at Castle Mountain Chalets just outside Banff, Alberta. Castle Mountain Chalets offers 21 Chalets at the based of majestic Castle Mountain with numerous hiking trails in the area. We are rated 4.5 on Tripadvisor and seek customer service rock stars with a eye for details to help us to continue our excellent ratings and customer experiences. We are looking for individuals who share these attributes to join our team! *Perks:* * Shared fully furnished private room and private bathroom! * No commute. * Large, spacious shared kitchen with 1 full sized fridge per room. * Free Wi-Fi and cable. * Free Laundry. * Free Parking. * Free gear rental (mountain bikes and snowshoes). * Staff van is available for use at the cost of $0.25/km. * Close proximity to many trails and outdoor activities * Staff Housing Cost: $12/day *Position Summary:* As part of our housekeeping team, you will clean and maintain cabins, common areas, and property in general. You will do laundry, folding and refill housekeeping products. You?ll also make wood bundles and deliver items to guests. Housekeeping Duties and Responsibilities: * Clean rooms, hallways, and restrooms. * Clean floors, rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture. * Washing walls and ceiling, move furniture, and turn mattress. * Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor. * Dusts and polishes metalwork. * Collects used linen for laundering. * Maintains housekeeping carts. * Removes trash collected by room attendants. * Deliver towels, cribs, and other items to the guest rooms on requests. * Perform duties of room attendant when necessary. * Refill the stock of guest amenities and supplies * Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures inclucing snow shoveling when required. * Report missing / found articles, damage, or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisor. * Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues. * Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed. * Lawn maintenance or snow removal as required * Report to work in required uniform and in adherence with the Hotels Dress Code Policy. * Must be able to work independently and as part of a team *You Are:* Hardworking, Punctual, Attentive, Consistent, Even Keeled, Positive, Adventurous, Confident, Kind, and posses an overall great attitude! *Prerequisites:* Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
