You?ll ensure a safe environment through customer service and essential security practices, representing the company professionally. Key Responsibilities: * Proactively prevent shoplifting, especially in high-theft areas. * Identify and address trespassing, enforcing the Trespass to Property Act. * Conduct patrols and monitor areas within the retail site. * Investigate and document security breaches and concerning behaviors. * Engage with patrons, providing a customer service approach to security. * Recognize and respond to potentially disruptive behavior. * Assist law enforcement as needed and complete detailed incident reports. *Qualifications:* * Valid Ontario security license. * Previous security experience, preferably in a retail setting, is an asset. * *Must have a minimum 2 years of security experience.* * Physical capability to stand for 10-12 hours. * Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. * Excellent customer service skills with an alert, responsive demeanor. * Ability to remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations.
