Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital of West Toronto is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our surgical team! Schedule: M-TH 8a - 6p NO WEEKENDS! NO ON CALL! Compensation: $27 - $35 pending knowledge & experience Responsibilities: Provide compassionate care to patients and clients in a fast-paced environment. Perform radiographs and bandage changes. Calculate drug dosages, create anesthetic protocols, and administer CRIs. Place catheters (peripheral and urinary) and perform blood draws. Utilize your anesthesia expertise and be open to learning new techniques. Manage multi-modal pain relief methods (e.g., epidurals, nerve blocks). Communicate effectively within a team and work independently when needed. Take initiative and prioritize tasks efficiently. Maintain a sense of humor and positive attitude. Strong skills in anesthesia and willingness to learn advanced techniques. Experience in multi-modal pain management. Proficient in radiography and bandage changes. Comfortable with drug dosage calculations and creating anesthetic protocols. Skilled in catheter placement and blood draws. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
