Xcel Automation is a well-established integrator of Industrial Automation and SCADA solutions, serving a variety of industries across Western Canada. We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our existing leadership and manage our growing group of automation professionals. The ideal candidate will be a responsible, independent, motivated individual capable of multitasking and adapting to our industry leading business. This position requires a versatile individual capable of managing various responsibilities, including overseeing day-to-day field operations, coordinating projects from initiation to completion, and offering technical guidance and mentoring as needed. Our team brings a wide range of expertise, and we are looking for someone eager to contribute to our ongoing success. *Qualifications include, but are not limited to:* · Proven experience in managing field operations for industrial automation, electrical and/or instrumentation projects and day-to-day activities. · Experience leading technical teams to deliver projects in industries such as oil & gas, manufacturing, and processing facilities. · Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills to manage field and project teams, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders. · Strong understanding of Electrical and Instrumentation systems, with experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of these systems considered an asset? · Familiarity with automation systems (PLCs, RTUs, SCADA, DCS systems) considered an asset but not required. · Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. This is a full-time position with preference given to candidates local to Xcel Automation?s office in Grande Prairie. We offer highly competitive employee or contractor compensation.
