If you cannot pay attention to detail it will disqualify you from the hiring process immediately.* *Job Title:Security Guard* *Hours: Range from 2hours to 44 hours * Seeking a security guard for a high-profile site in Scarborough. Mixture of Full-time work and part- time work. ANY DAY OF THE WEEK AS REQUIRED. You will support the need of the operation so will need to make yourself available 7 days a week *Shifts: (READ CAREFULLY)* (May subject to change) You can be schedule any combination of shifts as per operational requirements. *Shifts* Monday to Friday i) 3pm-11pm ii) 11pm to 7am (Overnight) Saturday & Sunday- Can be 12 hours or 8 hours depending on operational requirements 11am-11pm or 11pm to 11am Please note that you will be required to work evening, nights and or weekend shifts based on operational needs. You must follow all company and site policy, procedures, and protocols, with NO EXCEPTIONS. *Requirements:* - Must have a valid Ontario security guard license - If you have previous security experience it is an asset but not necessary - Should have a good working knowledge of CCTV cameras and how to review footage - Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and Windows - Must follow all company policies and procedures - Must have good communication skills, and work well with other - Must be flexible to adapt to the operational needs - Must have good report writing skills - Be able to work with little to no supervision, while ensuring complete attention to detail *Duties:* - Ensure staff members are screened prior to entering the facility and cell phones are locked in their lockers - Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises - Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activities - Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential security risks or breaches - Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly - Report to management and on site security supervisor for any updates or changes - Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises - Activate/deactivate employee access cards once directed by management - Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns - Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary - Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities *Skills:* - Strong observation and surveillance skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations - Knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and regulations - Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment - Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods - Basic computer skills for operating security systems To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter highlighting your relevant experience in the security field.
