We are currently hiring for a full time Restaurant Manager that has a background in wine. The Restaurant Manager will report to the General Manager and will work closely with the leadership team in creating and delivering an elevated guest experience that compliments our food program. *Key Responsibilities* * Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring smooth daily functions * Manage, train, and mentor, staff fostering a professional and positive work environment * Utilize wine knowledge to enhance our beverage offerings, collaborate with chefs on pairings, and guide guests in their wine selection * Ensure exceptional service standards are consistently met, addressing guest concerns promptly * Monitor inventory and ensure the wine list is up-to-date * Handle invoices and assist with budgetary controls among other administrative tasks * Supplier relations and product awareness, updating prices and product replacement as required * Concierge runs *Requirements* * Proven experience ideally within a fine dining or upscale establishment * Handle high volume dining room as a floor manager with a premium level of service * Level 3 WSET or equivalent (an asset) * Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed * Experience with Micros, Excel & Word, Health & Safety Standards & marketing including on-line presence Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00-$999,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Tips Benefits: * Extended health care * Paid time off Schedule: * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Restaurant management: 5 years (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-12-02- LocationVancouver, BC
