Educational Assistant Temporary Part-Time (40%)SEIU-West Union Position Posting #: S25-024Type: Internal/ExternalLocation: St. Augustine School, Wilcox SKPosted: November 14, 2024 Posting Closes: November 21, 2024 Start Date: November 25, 2024End Date: June 26, 2025Hours: Tuesday & Thursday when students are in schoolRate of Pay: As per SEIU-West Agreement Required Skills/Training: Minimum Grade 12 education.Certification in Early Childhood Education (Level 1, 2 or 3) will be considered an asset.Educational Assistant, Personal Care Aide or similar related areas and/or related experience would be considered an asset.Training in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention would be considered an asset.Experience with, and ability to handle, high needs children with a variety of emotional needs would be considered an asset.Experience with, and ability to handle, the needs of Elementary aged children would be considered an asset.Based on the needs of individual students, ability to provide assistance in occupational therapy, physical therapy, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring and transportation could be required.First Aid/CPR would be considered an asset.Possess a current and valid drivers license. Requirements: Familiarity and understanding of the practices of the Roman Catholic Faith Recent (within 6 months) Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check upon employment- LocationWilcox, SK
