Northern Gateway Public Schools invites applications for a Full-time (1.0 FTE) Teacher Assistant at Fox Creek School, Fox Creek, AB.<p>Successful candidate responsibilities: <p><p> Working with students one-on-one & in small groups in a Grade 7 - 8 classroom setting<p><p>Teach er Assistant s Qualifications : <p><p> Educational Assistant Certificate (desirable)<p> Current First Aid Certificate<p> Early Childhood training and experience (desirable)<p><p>Necessary Skills and Knowledge: <p><p> Establish rapport and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff<p> Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teacher and other educational assistants in the classroom/school<p> Understand and carry out oral and written direction<p> Work independently with minimal instruction<p> Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills <p> Respect confidentiality <p> Practice professionalism with all Fox Creek School students, staff, administration, parents and public<p> Be aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures<p><p>Hours of Work: <p><p> 32.5 hours per week/6.5 hours per day<p><p>Wage Rate: <p><p> $17.31/hour - $26.38/hour depending on qualifications and experience<p><p>Effective Date s : <p><p> ASAP<p><p>Application Process: <p><p> Email a cover letter and resume, including references, by November 20, 2024 to:<p><p>Mr. Ian Baxter, Principal<p>Fox Creek School<p>Phone: 780-622-3742<p>Email: ian.baxter@ngps.ca<p>On-line: www.ngps.ca<p>If shortlisted, applicants must bring to the interview a Release of Results of Vulnerable Sector Check that is current within three (3) months. <p>We appreciate all applications, but we will only contact those who are shortlisted.- LocationFox Creek, AB
