*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our organization. Must have valid security license and reliable phone, for Loss Prevention Services. *Responsibilities* - Conduct regular patrols to ensure security of the premises - Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms - Respond to emergencies and security incidents - Enforce property regulations and safety protocols - Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary - Report any suspicious activities or persons - Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors *Requirements* - Previous experience in security or related field preferred - Knowledge of loss prevention techniques - Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment - Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Certification in law enforcement or security is a plus Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 24 per week Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Security Guard Licence (required) Work Location: In person- LocationCampbell River, BC
