Location: <p>Stoughton Central School, located in the community of Stoughton, SK<p><p>Term: <p>Start Date: As soon as possible/As mutually agreed upon<p>End Date: June 26, 2025<p><p>Tenure: <p>Temporary<p><p>Hours of Work: <p>Equivalent to 3 hours per day student days<p><p>Duties: <p>In addition to those duties outlined in the job description, duties include supporting students with diverse needs and/or high behavioral needs. The successful applicant may be required to perform the following:<p><p> <p> Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without a lift and up to 120 pounds with 2 man lift or mechanical lift<p> <p> Transport students (personal vehicle may be required to transport)<p> Attend to personal hygiene and medical needs as required<p> Prepare and plan student-based life skills and academic programming under direction of teacher<p> Focus on successfully transitioning the student to be able to work with other students and adults<p> Focus on behaviour and safety plan created specifically for students as required<p> Supervision of intensive needs student(s) as well as small groups of students as required<p><p>Qualifications: <p><p> <p> Minimum Grade 12 diploma from an institution recognized by the Board of Education<p> <p> <p> Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and be flexible<p> <p> <p> Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as an effective team member<p> <p> <p> Valid driver's license<p> <p> <p> Demonstrated knowledge of school computer software such as word processing and computer assisted learning software<p> <p> <p> An educational assistant or equivalent diploma, NVCI, First Aid, Autism and Behavioral educational background will be considered assets<p> <p> <p> Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone Public School Division<p> <p><p>Salary & Benefits: <p>Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated CUPE Collective Agreement as listed on our website www.secpsd.ca.
